International Student Congress the Concept of Law and Ethics

On October 13 and 14 of the current year, 2022, in person and virtually, the International Student Congress: Concept of Law and Ethics will be held. Those who wish to attend virtually may register to do so. On Thursday, September 20, we will have precise information so that you can enable this option for those who wish to register.

The results of the research work will be presented in four thematic areas: The concept of law in Ecuador and Latin America; Sociology of the ethics of the lawyer; The two great legal currents: natural law and legal positivism; justice and law.

Objective

Promote ethical reflection within Law and analyze the different existing perspectives around the concept of law. On the other hand, investigate the sociology of the lawyer's ethics; that is, to reflect on the daily practices within this field.

In order to better understand the subject, we will seek to understand the origin and construction of law, which is essential for the understanding of justice as a value.

The Ethics, University and Society Congress International Student Congress the Concept of Law and Ethics; seeks to bring together students from several countries, in order to discuss and make visible, from the perspective of university students, the reality of ethics within Law.
