Faced with the simplism that is usually attributed to the alternative and pacifist lefts, as the French intellectual Edgar Morin says, complex thinking is necessary, combining various contradictions and conflicts, as well as realistic and multidimensional strategies that, at the same time, are consistent with the values democratic and egalitarian.
