How to reduce the environmental footprint of transport companies
Road transport is responsible for 25% of greenhouse gas emissions in Spain. A not insignificant figure considering that the Government has set the goal of achieving neutrality in greenhouse gas emissions in 2050.
Among the measures contemplated is the implementation of regulations that promote electric mobility. For many companies, the electrification of their fleet is indeed a feasible option to consider in order to reduce their environmental footprint. This is the case of courier and last-mile delivery companies, as well as those companies with fleets of commercial vehicles or sectors such as distribution, installation or maintenance, which use utility vehicles or vans for their journeys.
