Defending the water, a matter of life... or persecution and death
We live on a planet that has only 2,5% fresh water and almost 70% of it is frozen at the poles. A water that is essential for non-marine life and that, when scarce, becomes the most precious commodity for survival. This is how countless communities around the world understand it, where their leaders are struggling to avoid a plundering of many decades that today is aggravated by the changes generated by a global economy and climate warming generated by that same system.
