War and anthropological ethics

In a thermonuclear war, what is relevant is no longer the number of human deaths, but rather the disappearance of the natural environment that makes life possible. It would thus go from an anthropological ethics to an environmental ethics. The Jain attitude would also correspond to the fear of that future war, because it endangers not human life, but all forms of life. The spirit of the Russian people, very much shaped by orthodox Christianity, has always felt like a brother to Nature, precisely because of the harsh conditions in which it is presented, and few films have known how to represent that soul as well as “Dersu Uzala”, of the great Akira Kurosawa.
