An augmented reality zoo will open in summer in Barcelona as an ethical alternative to the traditional ones of life
A 300-hectare estate one hour from Barcelona will host the first theme park in augmented reality in Europe. More specifically, Metapark will be located in the Parque del Montnegre y el Corredor and it seems that it can be visited starting this summer.
Dedicated to wildlife, Metapark Zoo is the theme chosen for its opening. It is a realistic but virtual visit in which visitors can interact with wild animals from different parts of the world. That is to say, as in a zoo of all life but through the use of augmented reality glasses.
