War and science without ethics
I write these lines at a time when a large part of civilization is shocked by the brutal attack that Russia led by Vladimir Putin has launched against Ukraine. And I reflect on what is happening, trying, with difficulty, that my thoughts are not limited to the indignation I experience at the bullying and cynicism displayed by the highest leader of Russia, a nuclear power, let's not forget. Nor do I want to fall, or reduce my reflections to the type of “No to war” discourse that is displayed these days through posters in all kinds of scenarios (it would be more appropriate to cry out for “No to invasions”).
