The communicator and an ethical question: does objectivity exist?

“Is objectivity utopian or attainable?”, “Is it really advisable to know the truth, however painful it may be, or is it okay to continue submerged in lies if it is more pleasant?”, are some of the questions I have asked myself for several years, both academically and personally, and this chapter has helped me understand more about these concepts and answer these questions.

The author makes us understand that human beings are social by nature, as he comments at the beginning of the chapter, and therefore they must be in constant interaction with their peers.
